Cash & Caiden | {Brownsburg & Indianapolis Newborn Photographer}

Today I had the pleasure of photographing my second set of twins.  These two sweet little guys actually belong to my cousin.  They actually arrived just a couple of days before Christmas, at 31 weeks gestation.  Since they came so much earlier than expected, they were very tiny when they were born and had to stay in the NICU for a while.  But they have both done extremely well since birth and actually got to come home already!  And even though they are almost eight weeks old, they are still very small little bundles of joy.  The littlest guy weighed 4lbs 8oz today, and his slightly bigger brother weighs right around 5lbs 10oz.  They weren't technically due to be born until later this month!  They are two little miracles for sure!  And they are also officially the littlest newborns I have photographed to date.  They are absolutely ADORABLE!!!!

Baby Addilyn | {Brownsburg & Indianapolis Newborn Photographer}

Oh. My. Goodness.  This little ladybug was a delight today at her newborn portrait session!!  Little Addi was letting me snap gorgeous photos of her, literally, within about ten minutes of arriving!  She didn't waste anytime doing all those silly baby things like crying or fussing or eating!  LOL  She just got right to it!  Addi actually came into the world five weeks early and has apparently been working on her modeling poses since that day, because she was fantastic!  And to think she wasn't even due to be here until later this month, and here she is at just 17 days old just posing away for me!  While she was a very good girl the entire time, I will say that she earned herself a new nickname.  I was calling her the smile ninja because she was so sneaky...smiling a LOT...but almost always when I was not ready.  Very tricky, this one!!   Haha!  And, on top of all her fabulous modeling, I also got to use the new flooring my mom made for me, along with my new basket.  I am in LOOOVE with the look of this session!  This is definitely my style, for sure!

This mommy is a good friend of mine from college and I have photographed her and her family many times.  She is the proud mommy of a sweet little boy already.  And now they are happily expecting a little girl to add to their family.  I know they are very excited, of course.  And I am, too!  I can't wait to meet this new little bundle and photograph her!  :)

Baby Josie | {Brownsburg & Indianapolis Newborn Photographer}

I have been looking forward to this newborn portrait session for several months now!  Today I had the pleasure of photographing little Josie, a beautiful new baby girl that belongs to a good friend of mine from middle/high school.  My friend has always been absolutely stunning, so it's no surprise that her children are gorgeous!  And Josie was as sweet as can be the whole time.  She did, apparently, come with a plan in mind that she was going to spend a very long time preparing for her modeling debut by drinking as much of her mother's milk as possible.  And after setting a record for most time spent eating first and finally getting her fill, she then let us see what she had in mind.  Haha!!  But of course, it was totally worth the wait!  Once she drifted off to sleep, she was the sweetest little bundle ever and didn't mind letting me move her and pose her.  I was excited to see what her mommy would choose for the blankets and accessories, because she has really lovely, fresh, clean taste in decorating.  Josie looked so angelic and new, surrounded by a white, fluffy blanket.  And ps....another newborn with amazing hair!!!  Love!
